Cafe Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform plating responsibilities for hot and coldprepared foods and general set up and side work during the hours of the café'soperation. Food will be served in aprofessional, courteous, and cheerful manner to residents, guests, and staff.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets residentsand guests in a friendly, timely manner with a smile
• Responsible fortaking meal/beverage orders and serving requested items according toestablished policies
• Assist in thepreparation of beverages requested by customers quickly and confidently, has athorough knowledge of coffee drinks
• Maintain all sidestations and dining areas using the "clean as you go" policy
• Assist withspecial events and functions as needed
• Follow daily andweekly cleaning schedules
• Assist withorientation and training of new food servers
• Practice allsafety and loss prevention procedures
• Maintain orexceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene
• Attend allin-services as required
• Perform all otherreasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor

Educational Requirements andExperience :

• High schooldiploma or equivalent, but not necessary
• Must be able toread and write
• Followinstructions with a positive attitude
• Experience aplus, but not required
