Now Hiring: ADOR / Physical Therapist (PT) Join the Rehabilitation Team at St. Francis Healthcare Center Location: St. Francis Healthcare Center Position: Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) / Physical Therapist (PT) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday St. Francis Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team as an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated rehabilitation professional who enjoys providing hands-on patient care while also supporting the coordination and day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department. Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or functional decline. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs, goals, and functional abilities. Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, balance activities, and other appropriate interventions. Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, CNAs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Assist with coordinating daily rehabilitation department operations and workflow. Support therapy staff with clinical guidance, scheduling, and department coordination. Promote quality outcomes, resident safety, and resident-centered care. Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations. Participate in care plan meetings and communicate resident progress with residents and their families. Support a positive, professional, and collaborative rehabilitation environment. Qualifications Current California Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing. Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Previous experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation setting preferred. Previous leadership, supervisory, or rehabilitation management experience preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
