Regional Human Resources Support Specialist

Role Description

Sodalis Senior Living has an opening for a Regional Human Resources Support Specialist. The Regional Human Resources Support Specialist will provide Human Resources guidance and support to 12 Assisted Living communities in Florida and Georgia.

• Employee Relations:
  • Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Nurture a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns in a timely manner
  • Support corporate culture initiatives
  • Conduct investigations as needed to resolve employee issues and making recommendations to the Vice President, Human Resources
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor legislation
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine any negative trends within the community
• Training and Development:
  • Oversee and monitor each community’s new hire orientation program
  • Assign annual training to staff to meet state requirements in the LMS
  • Conduct in-person all-staff meetings to review company policies and procedures as needed
  • Assess training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring continuous professional development
  • Conduct training with the executive leadership team at a community on new or changed policies and procedures
• Recordkeeping:
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics for their region’s communities
  • Maintain detailed journal of issues and resolutions for each community
• Other Duties:
  • Participate in community activities as schedule allows
  • Conduct regular Teams training with community Business Office Coordinators

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required; knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in human resources, preferably regional or multi-location experience

  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations

Work Environment

• The ideal candidate will reside within the state of Florida
• The Regional Human Resources Support Specialist will be expected to work remotely from home and travel to communities as needed to conduct Human Resources functions within the community
• This position reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources at the corporate office in San Marcos, Texas
