Location: This position is based on-site in Lebanon, KY. Remote work is not available. Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering project schedules and capital investment projects.
- Develop and support proprietary IoT systems for machine connectivity and centralized data collection.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and electronic control systems.
- Support IoT integration, EDI systems, and manufacturing technology improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to develop and deploy solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, controls troubleshooting, and industrial networking.
- Experience with Ethernet, CC-Link, serial communications, IP addressing, and system integration.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, TS, and ISO standards.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) development, and design reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and suppliers.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and Visio)
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
- Industrial automation, controls, and IoT technologies
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
- Frequent standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
