Responsibilities

Your Mission: Precision at Scale

As the "Technical Heartbeat" of our off-shift operations, you aren't just an operator-you are the master of your station. You will own the following:

• Multi-Axis Mastery: Lead the end-to-end setup and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. You'll handle the complexity of heavy-duty rail components with surgical precision.
• Technical Interpretation: Fluently read engineering blueprints and navigate G-code to ensure every cut is optimized and 100% accurate.
• Quality Defense: Act as the final authority on your parts. Use micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges to maintain the tight tolerances required for American infrastructure.
• Proactive Troubleshooting: Diagnose and solve mechanical or programming issues on the fly. We trust your expertise to keep the spindle turning without a manager hovering over your shoulder.
• Safety & Stewardship: Maintain a professional, elite shop environment. You'll manage your workflow efficiently while ensuring a "safety-first" culture for yourself and your team.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
