Accountant - Private Investment Office - $80-110K+B

Location: West Palm Beach, FL Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits A well-established private investment office based in West Palm Beach is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Cash Management Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This position will play a central role in managing daily cash activity, executing and tracking wire transfers, monitoring bank accounts, and maintaining accurate records across a complex portfolio of entities. This is a newly created position due to the firm's continued growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and strong follow-through are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on treasury, cash management, banking, or transactional accounting experience who is interested in joining a sophisticated private office. Core Responsibilities: Manage daily cash activity across multiple entities and accounts, including execution of wires, ACH payments, checks, and internal transfers with proper approvals and documentation Monitor bank balances, liquidity needs, and coordinate funding across accounts to ensure sufficient cash availability Perform bank reconciliations and record all cash activity within the general ledger Track investment-related cash flows, including capital calls, distributions, and funding activity Maintain wire logs, banking records, and support account administration (openings, closings, and signer updates) Assist with cash reporting, month-end close, and financial reporting processes Ensure strong internal controls, fraud prevention procedures, and accurate payment processing Support ad hoc treasury, accounting, and special projects as needed Qualifications & Requirements: 5+ years of accounting, cash management, treasury, banking, or transactional finance experience Prior experience preparing and processing a high volume of wire transfers, ACH payments, checks, and account transfers Strong understanding of cash controls, banking procedures, payment approvals, and fraud-prevention practices Experience monitoring bank balances and coordinating funding across multiple accounts or entities Proficiency with bank reconciliations and cash-related general ledger activity Family office, private investment office, private equity, wealth management, CPA firm, or boutique accounting experience is strongly preferred Exposure to investment or partnership accounting is a plus, but not required Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately review sensitive payment information Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive transactions Professional, polished, and highly responsive communication style Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion Collaborative, proactive, and willing to assist across a broad range of accounting and finance responsibilities Base Salary : $80-110k base plus additional incentives and benefits The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advice Personnel
