Special Education Teacher - High School
The Illinois Association of School Administrators
Central CUSD #4 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to serve students in 9th-12thGrade. This resource position may also include co-teaching within general education classrooms to support inclusive practices and meet the diverse needs of our learners. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned to students' IEP goals. Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and deliver co-taught lessons. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with families, support staff, and related service providers. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required. Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting preferred.
