Title: VP – Project Finance Credit Risk Analyst, Americas Office Status: Hybrid – New York, NY Base Salary: $160k - $200k + Discretionary Bonus Overview This is a Project Finance credit risk opportunity within the Counterparty Risk Analysis function of a well‑established global financial institution, focused on independent credit analysis and risk assessment across North and South American project finance transactions. The role offers direct involvement in the full credit review lifecycle; from application review and financial modeling through internal rating preparation and RPC opinion drafting while having exposure to Head Office coordination and cross‑sector backup coverage. It's an ideal fit for a seasoned credit professional with project finance experience who combines strong analytical skills with clear, concise written communication and the ability to operate independently in a deadline‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Review credit applications for completeness and consistency with internal policies; follow up with Front Office as needed to resolve gaps or inconsistencies Perform impartial, in-depth analysis of borrowers, corporate groups, and transaction structures through review of term sheets, market studies, financial models, legal due diligence, and engineering reports Review and prepare internal credit rating models; make adjustments as needed to reflect transaction‑specific risk factors Draft RPC Opinions and credit recommendations in consultation with the Sector Credit Officer regarding exposure, ratings, and structure, meeting all internal deadlines Verify accuracy of data across internal risk management systems; ensure timely completion of all required system inputs Coordinate with Head Office on credit proposal questions and analyses for names under Head Office delegation Respond to requests from Loan Review and internal and external auditors; complete special assignments and ad hoc projects as directed Provide backup analyst coverage on files in other teams and sectors as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
