XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is now hiring for a Warehouse Dispatcher!

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177
Pay Rate: $45,000–$50,000 (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to act as a liaison between drivers and customers. This position is responsible for coordinating pickups and deliveries, managing routes, communicating with drivers and customers, and ensuring excellent service standards.

The ideal candidate will be a strong problem solver with excellent communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships and trust with customers and drivers through open and professional communication.
• Take incoming orders and questions regarding pickups and deliveries by phone and email.
• Develop and manage pickup and delivery routes efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates with brokers.
• Prepare and provide necessary carrier documentation and information to drivers.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with destination sites.
• Maintain communication with drivers throughout their routes and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Work with management to modify daily routes based on customer needs.
• Enter load information into the Transportation Management System.
• File and maintain paperwork and documentation.
• Handle customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions and follow-up.
• Provide customers with pickup and delivery information and updates, including scanning and sending paperwork.
• Monitor truck maintenance and repair schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• At least 1 year of local truck dispatching experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous customer support experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, respectful, and courteous communication.
• Strong phone handling and active listening skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to work with different personalities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Proficiency with office software.
• Must be responsible and reliable.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends based on business needs.

Dress Code: General warehouse attire and steel toe shoes
PPE: Yellow safety vest
