Perform triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and reassessment of acute conditions in the ED. Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and implement care plans; participate in shift handoffs. Ensure patient and family education on diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and discharge planning; uphold safety and infection control standards. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record; ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
