Job SummaryThe Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) administers basic patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of medical staff and Registered Nurses. The ETT demonstrates competent responsiveness to frequent critical situations and deals effectively with patients, families and co-workers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesObtaining and documenting vital signs and EKGsUtilizing and providing patient instruction for splints and other orthopedic equipmentResponding to codes, trauma stats and trauma alertsTransporting patients throughout the hospitalCollecting and transporting lab specimens, and other ancillary duties within the Emergency Department.RequiredAHA Basic Life Support certification is required or to be completed during orientation.PreferredPrior Hospital Experience PreferredExperience as EMT or CNA PreferredLocation: Merrimack Health · Emergency CenterSchedule: 11:00am-11:00pm, 36 #J-18808-Ljbffr
