This role is pivotal in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring timely and courteous shuttle rides to and from local destinations. Job Overview DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend Downtown is seeking a dependable and guest-focused Shuttle Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation for hotel guests and airline crews. This position plays an important role in creating a positive first and last impression of our hotel through exceptional service and hospitality. Responsibilities Operate the hotel shuttle safely and efficiently according to company policies. Transport guests and airline crews to and from airports, local attractions, and other designated locations. Assist guests with luggage and provide excellent customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Maintain transportation logs and required documentation. Provide information about the hotel and local area attractions when appropriate. Assist with guest service needs and hotel operations as assigned. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous hospitality or transportation experience preferred but not required. Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service. Good knowledge of the South Bend area and surrounding routes. Previous driving experience preferred, especially in passenger transport.
