Sr. Maintenance Specialist (2nd Shift)

Baxter seeks a Senior Maintenance Specialist for second-shift operations in Batesville, Indiana. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility to support production uptime and facility reliability.
Responsibilities
- Respond to maintenance emergencies, equipment failures, and routine service requests
- Diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment, robots, hydraulic presses, and automated systems
- Collaborate with production operators, engineers, and equipment vendors on technical solutions
- Document maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and create technical sketches and diagrams
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and robotic equipment
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Experience with CMMS software, preferably Maximo
- Root cause analysis and corrective action capability
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Compensation: $32.03 per hour, plus shift differential for second shift
