Provide emergency nursing interventions and patient stabilization. Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record. Support patient safety, infection prevention, and emergency department protocols. Participate in holiday coverage as required. Qualifications and Requirements Active RN license applicable to Texas practice. Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience. Current certifications required: TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support BLS – Basic Life Support Emergency Room nursing experience. Ability to work night shifts and participate in required holiday coverage. Clinical Environment Level IV trauma center 8-bed emergency department Approximately 30 patient visits per 24 hours Emergency medicine board-certified physicians on-site 24/7 EMR: CPSI/Evident Important Notes Contract duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Overtime is calculated weekly after 40 hours at 1.5 times the applicable all-inclusive rate.
