Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment. The technologist will support Radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and will be responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. This opportunity is located in Passaic, NJ at a hospital.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCNMT- or CAMRT-accredited nuclear medicine technology program, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT) required.
• Current state Nuclear Medicine license as applicable.
• Minimum one year of acute clinical radiology experience and at least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with PACS image processing and transmission.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional radiography or cross-sectional imaging experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
