Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Dismantling, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
• Reading mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics.
• Repairing and fabricating components.
• PLC programming.
• Safely operating a seated forklift.
• Programming, setting up, recovering, and diagnosing robots.
• Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Accurately documenting department data and completing required paperwork.
• Practicing safe shut down and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills Required:

• Adherence to all safety policies.
• Preferably, experience in steel, forging, or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Technical knowledge.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to train others as needed.
• Team player mentality.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly
