Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Route Security in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented culture with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:45 PM - 11:30 PMTue02:45 PM - 11:30 PMWed02:45 PM - 11:30 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:45 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:45 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter. Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
