Hours: Full Time and Part Time

Schedule: ALL Shifts Available - Every other weekend and holiday required.

Day Shift: 6AM to 2:30PM 

Evening Shift: 2PM to 10:30PM 

Overnight Shift: 10PM to 6:30AM

 

Licensure: Active Nebraska CNA State Issued License 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to assist patients with activities i.e; toileting, bathing, dressing, personal cares, morning-evening-night routines etc.

• Preparing each patient's room with necessary items such as; clean linens, medical equipment and toileting items. 

• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff. 

• Assisting patients with individual mobility needs, transfers. 

• Turning or adjusting patients in bed, providing comfort cares including pre and post mortem care. 

• Able to ambulate patients per each Kardex-Care Plan. 

• Providing assistance with their meals: physically assisting and also verbal ques. 

Other Requirements:

• Active State of Nebraska CNA License

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassion

• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills

• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations

• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions

• Comfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needs

• Physical strength and stamina
