Key Responsibilities\nIn your role as a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans. \n
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions through our telehealth system, utilizing approved therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. \n
- Setting and adjusting therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, continually monitoring progress towards those goals throughout the therapeutic process. \n
- Documenting all client interactions and treatment plans accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. \n
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices. \n
Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, with various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, providing compassionate support that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts. Your role will significantly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and overall well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. \n
- A strong sense of empathy and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to understanding clients' experiences and challenges. \n
- Effective organizational and time management skills to maintain a manageable caseload and adhere to documentation deadlines. \n
While any relevant experience is valued, candidates with experience in teletherapy practices and those familiar with specific mental health populations, such as veterans or individuals experiencing chronic trauma, will find their backgrounds particularly suited for this role. Experience in the use of EHR systems is also advantageous.
