Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Kodiak, AK. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from Alaska: Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 5:30am Alaska and closes mid-afternoon. Alaska Time runs an hour behind Pacific — the NYSE opens at 5:30am local. It's an early start, but it pairs well with the region's natural early-morning rhythm and gives you an afternoon for everything outside the screens. This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital. What you will do: Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach Build consistency and scale capital based on performance Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
