Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Surgical Tech | Up to $15K Sign-On + Relocation + Shift Differentials

Schedule Options: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts | Day, Evening, Overnight | Rotating Call Required
Location: Gainesville, FL (Must be able to reach facility within 30 minutes when on-call)
Pay Range: $22.66 - $32.86/hour based on experience
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Shift Differentials:

• Nights: +$3.25/hr
• Evenings/Weekends: +$2.00/hr
• On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr + Time-and-a-Half for Call Back

Overview

Join a nationally recognized healthcare provider as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) . We are hiring experienced Surgical Techs to work in our high-acuity surgical services team, supporting procedures across orthopedics, neurology, vascular, robotics, laparoscopic, and general surgery . This is a high-impact clinical role where you'll work side-by-side with top surgeons and RNs in a fast-paced, team-oriented operating room (OR) environment .

Whether you have experience in acute care hospitals , ambulatory surgery centers , or trauma centers , your skills are needed to support life-saving surgical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary scrub tech during surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments in compliance with sterile technique standards
• Assist surgeons and RNs intra-operatively
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and ensure safety and efficiency
• Support robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts (must be within 30 minutes of facility when on call)

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience preferred
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital operating room setting
• Exposure to orthopedic surgery , neurosurgery , vascular procedures , and robotics (Da Vinci systems) highly valued
• Ability to work rotating day, evening, night shifts , and be on-call as needed
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and perioperative processes

Qualifications

• CST Certification - Required
• High School Diploma or Vocational School Graduate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - must be obtained within 30 days of start
• Knowledge of AORN standards and operating room best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule Options

Days:

• 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hr)
• 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hr)

Evenings/Nights:

• 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM (12-hr)
• 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM (10-hr)

Call is rotated equally among team. On-call team members must be prepared to arrive within 30 minutes when called.
