Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Methodist Hospital Hill Country, Texas

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 0700-1530

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients undergoing interventional procedures, including PCI and Interventional Radiology. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and manage care plans for those undergoing Cath Lab procedures.
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Work collaboratively with the Cath Lab team, including CNC, Cath Lab Techs, and fellow RNs to provide seamless patient care.
• Participate in patient education and post-procedural care instructions.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities during evenings and weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• Experience in Cath Lab or interventional radiology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
