As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Respond to access control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Document daily activities, irregularities, and security-related incidents accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
