The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in either the Math or English sections of the SAT and a strong track record of helping students achieve their target scores. Key Responsibilities Deliver Targeted Instruction: Teach high-impact lessons in SAT Math or English that reflect the most up-to-date exam structure, content, and scoring. Develop Engaging Lesson Plans: Create student-centered, interactive lesson materials that accommodate diverse learning styles and proficiency levels. Monitor Student Progress: Administer diagnostic assessments and full-length practice tests to evaluate performance and tailor instruction accordingly. Provide Actionable Feedback: Offer individualized strategies, clear feedback, and test-taking techniques to boost accuracy, speed, and confidence. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of changes to SAT format, question types, and scoring rubrics to maintain instructional relevance. Create a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a motivating and supportive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth. Qualifications Proven experience teaching SAT preparation, with subject-matter expertise in either Math or English Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and connect with students Strong organizational abilities and flexibility in managing lessons and schedules Passion for education, with a student-first mindset and dedication to academic achievement Availability to teach part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Job Type: Part-time Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
