Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year License: NC or Compact license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Required charting experience: EPIC - Required skills: Recovery of conscious sedation, Bronchoscopy, Circulation, Colonoscopy, EGD, Administering conscious sedation, Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, Monitoring conscious sedation, Specimen handling/labeling Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Endoscopy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Candidates must possess a valid NC or Compact nursing license. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is necessary. The role involves recovery of conscious sedation and performing endoscopic procedures. No weekend or on-call requirements are expected. Flu vaccines are mandatory with no exemptions allowed. Candidates are required to pass an EKG/Telemetry exam onsite. The daily census in the unit is approximately 40-45 patients. This position involves working in an outpatient endoscopy center. Skill in monitoring conscious sedation and specimen handling is essential. Attendance policies allow for up to three absences during the contract period. Modules related to orientation and ongoing training are required.
