Maintains patient care records, evaluates the patient's response to treatment and recommends treatment plan changes and participates in in-service and continuing education programs. Participates in special departmental programs, clinical education and assists with program development/enhancement.Education -Required - -Master's degreeWork ExperienceRequired - -NonePreferred - Experience with pediatric and adult populationsCertificationsRequired - Current Speech Pathologist license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another stateBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationCertification of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required within 2 years of hireKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good judgment and excellent decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of patients and diagnosis.Job Duties
