McKinney Collections Specialist

Responsibilities Manage a specified territory categorized by Encore Independent Sales Representatives. Resolve pricing claims and deductions by requesting and/or validating customers’ debit memos against the support in the system while working directly with customers and Encore Reps. Work with QC, Shipping, and Sales on claims and when necessary, schedule pickup of requested return material. Issue credit and debit memos within 24–48 hours of receipt of goods. Support adjustments with proper validation and support. Manage freight claims by providing raw material scrap values and reclaimed materials while tracking the funds received. Process and track commission deductions as needed. Run reports and manage unresolved chargebacks and deductions. Collect unearned discounts when necessary. Provide support to other team members who are absent. Qualifications Extremely organized. Excellent time‑management skills. Strong teamwork ability – works well with others and offers assistance without direction. Proficient in Excel. Great communication skills, with telephone as the preferred method of communication. Thorough documentation skills (leaving notes for deductions for others). Punctual with great attendance; self‑manages work hours based on workload.
