Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to hire a Senior Accountant near Sacramento, CA. This is a hands‑on role supporting month‑end close and multi‑entity accounting, with exposure to a Workday ERP transition. What You’ll Do Lead month‑end close Prepare/post journal entries (accruals, intercompany, fixed assets) Perform balance sheet reconciliations Support AP accruals, cash, and fixed assets Assist with Workday implementation and reporting improvements Review junior staff work and support audits What You Bring Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance 5+ years of operational accounting experience Strong close and reconciliation experience Multi‑entity background Advanced Excel; ERP required (Workday a plus) Why This Role Long‑term contract with a stable healthcare organization Hybrid flexibility Competitive pay through LHH Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays (where applicable), EAP, and career development resources.
