Facility: East Patient Building Location: Sioux Falls, SD Address: 1305 W 18th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105, USA Shift: 12 Hours – Night Shifts Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $2,866 – $3,586 Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. The RN collaborates with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise, applying age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. The RN cares for patients throughout preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, patient assessment, education, triage, and other nursing interventions. The RN functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules, and acknowledges the Code of Ethics for Nurses with interpretive statements as published by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA); Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where practice is occurring. Multistate licensure is acceptable in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. At least one year of RN experience. At least six months of travel nursing experience. Reside at least 60 miles from the location applied for. Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications. Benefits Sanford offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying full‑time and part‑time employees.
