Role Overview Provides direct nursing care in a telemetry and IMC unit, ensuring patient safety, monitoring, and communication of condition updates. Acts as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines and implements physician and nursing orders. Assesses and plans for patient discharge needs. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary care for well-organized patient treatment. Record, communicate patient status, and carry out orders accurately. Assist in discharge planning by collaborating with the healthcare team. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing. BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross. Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
