Position Requirements:

• Endocrinologist - MD or DO - both outpatient and inpatient care

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Possession or ability to obtain a Florida Medical License is essential

• Call coverage is set at 1:4

• Office location: 2727 W. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Suite 780, Tampa, FL 33607

  • Operating hours: Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

  • Patient age range: 18 years and older

• Hospital location:

  • Florida Medical Clinic at Wiregrass Ranch Hospital

  • 3000 Wiregrass Ranch Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL 33543

• Spanish language proficiency is preferred

Work Experience:

• Balanced work-life schedule.

• Patient panel includes individuals from 18 years to geriatric patients.

• Average patient load is 20-23 per day, utilizing the Epic system for efficiency.

• Dedicated clinic support team, including one medical assistant (MA) per provider, along with front office staff and supervisors.

• Collaborative work environment with a team of like-minded physicians, including primary care providers and specialists.

• Inpatient support is provided by a team of Hospital Medicine physicians for inpatient and long-term care needs.

• Opportunity to practice comprehensive medicine, including preventative care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
