Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across an energetic and collaborative school district near Poulsbo, WA. This full-time role offers up to 37.5 hours weekly and begins as soon as possible, lasting through June 16, 2027. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll play a key role in enhancing students' educational journeys district-wide, teaming up with occupational therapists, educators, and families.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for student growth and meaningful OT improvement in school settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Washington State COTA license required
• Previous experience working in schools highly preferred
• Solid grasp of COTA practices and therapeutic interventions for ages K-12
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Occupational Therapists in implementing student treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy and document student progress per IEP goals
• Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments for student needs
• Communicate and consult with teachers, families, and educational staff
• Help assess student abilities, track outcomes, and assist with care planning
