Director of Talent Acquisition

A large, nationally recognized service organization is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead a high-volume, field-focused recruiting function supporting a distributed workforce across multiple regions.
This is a highly visible leadership role with executive exposure and the opportunity to help shape recruiting strategy, leadership development, and talent programs across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who has experience managing large-scale recruiting operations in fast-paced, multi-site environments such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, or other distributed workforce organizations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of approximately ~15 field recruiters
- Coach, mentor, and elevate recruiting leadership capabilities across the team
- Build strong partnerships with regional operational leadership and executive stakeholders
- Drive accountability, performance metrics, and recruiting effectiveness
High-Volume Recruiting Strategy
- Oversee large-scale recruiting operations supporting thousands of hires annually
- Develop scalable recruiting processes, workforce planning strategies, and talent pipelines
- Improve recruiting operations, systems, and candidate experience initiatives
- Partner with HR and Operations leadership on long-term hiring strategies
Executive & Salaried Recruiting
- Personally support recruitment efforts for higher-level salaried and leadership roles
- Partner closely with regional SVPs and executive leadership teams
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders across multiple markets
Organizational Impact
- Help shape broader talent and leadership development initiatives
- Build programs and processes with strong executive sponsorship and visibility
- Contribute beyond recruiting into overall employee lifecycle and talent strategy
Qualifications:
- Previous Director-level Talent Acquisition leadership experience
- Experience supporting organizations with 7,000+ hires annually
- Background in industries such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, or multi-site service organizations
- Proven success managing high-volume recruiting operations
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience partnering directly with executive and operational leadership teams
