Data Engineer

This role will support a small, in-house digital, data, and marketing technology team and will focus on hands‑on data engineering within a Snowflake- and AWS-based data environment. The position will contribute to analytics, marketing, CDP, activation, and partner data initiatives. This is a generalist data engineering role, with responsibilities spanning multiple areas of the data platform based on business priorities and project needs. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain production‑grade data pipelines within a Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment. Support the ingestion, transformation, and modeling of data from multiple sources, including: Digital marketing and advertising platforms Web and analytics tools CDP‑related data flows Partner‑provided datasets Third‑party enrichment providers Develop and maintain scalable ELT workflows to support analytics, segmentation, and activation use cases. Enable and integrate CDP workflows, including: Preparing data for audience creation Supporting identity inputs and enrichment processes Engineering activation‑ready outputs for downstream CDPs and marketing platforms Support secure data collaboration and governed data‑sharing patterns as needed. Implement and maintain data governance, security, and access controls. Optimize Snowflake performance, cost efficiency, and system reliability. Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines, ingestion processes, and transformations. Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, platform patterns, and engineering standards. Required / Preferred Experience Strong, hands‑on experience using Snowflake as a primary data warehouse. Advanced SQL skills applied to data engineering use cases. Experience working within AWS‑based data environments. Proven experience building and operating production data pipelines. Experience supporting CDP‑related data flows, including audience readiness, identity management, and activation processes. Ability to work effectively in a lean, high‑ownership contract role. Nice to Have Experience supporting customer data platforms (CDPs). Experience with secure data sharing and privacy‑safe data collaboration. Experience supporting media activation pipelines. Experience working with marketing, advertising, and analytics data from an engineering perspective. Experience partnering closely with marketing technology teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
