Demonstrates clinical competency and professional practice skills in a step-down unit. Monitors and assesses patient conditions. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilizes effective communication skills with patients and families. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Participates in patient education and discharge planning. Implements best practices for infection control and safety. Provides emotional support to patients and their families. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
