Quick Facts:

• Location: 4101 22nd Street, Lubbock, TX 79410
• Start Date: 07/31/2026
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am (Inpatient coverage)
• Shift: 7/31-8/3, with potential ongoing shifts
• Hours/week: 84+ hours (based on minimum shifts)
• Employment Type: Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: Active Texas APRN license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, BC or truly BE in Acute Care NP
• Experience: 1-2 years preferred, ICU or neuro experience a plus

What You'll Do:

• Manage inpatient admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Perform essential procedures such as intubation, central lines, dialysis lines, and arterial lines (1-3 procedures per shift)
• Respond to emergencies, including running codes and assisting during critical interventions
• Communicate effectively with internal units and provide updates to physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality inpatient care
• Potentially support neuro/neurology/neurosurgery patients if neuro experience is available

What You Need:

• Texas APRN (NP) license with current DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 1-2 years of acute care or ICU experience
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment
