Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate Must-Have: High risk obstetrical bedside training Experience circulating in c/section in the labor and delivery area Experience recovering high acuity patients Description: Experience with high risk patients is required. This is a high risk obstetrical unit focused on labor and delivery. The unit has 24 beds with estimated patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. The documentation system used is Meditech, CPNS. Scheduling requirements include three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM each week. The floating policy is as needed to the antepartum unit within the women's division. Candidates must have at least two years of high risk labor and delivery care experience. Dress code requires scrubs in a specified color. Nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair should be neat and clean, tied back if shoulder length or longer. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings, other than ears, are prohibited. Attendance policies will be followed as per company guidelines.
