Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resources Coordinator Responsible for performing human resources functions to include marketing job opening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention. Must represent the agency in a professional manner at all times and demonstrate the following characteristics: excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with a wide range of people; excellent customer service with all internal and external customers; communicate effectively verbally and in writing to multiple levels of staff and stakeholders; understand the importance of urgency and accuracy; and be able to adapt to changing work conditions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED At least 18 years of age Possess a valid driver\'s license Excellent driving record Ability to pass background screening Ability to pass drug screening Possess a working telephone (this requirement reflects the fact that many positions rely on a timekeeping application to record work hours) Must be able to type with speed and accuracy Reliable transportation Five years of experience in human resources. Bachelor\'s degree in a related field may substitute for experience. Moderate experience with Microsoft Office preferred Experience with public speaking preferred ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to read, write, and speak English well Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel Have use of arms, hands, and fingers Lift up to 25 lbs.
