Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) shifts available.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team in a rotating schedule. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in critical condition, collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor critical patients, including those on ECMO and ventilators.
• Perform central line placement and care, arterial line management, and other advanced nursing procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and labs, including ABGs, to make informed decisions.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Participate in the education of patients and families about their health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
