Highlights Pay: $64 - $83/hour Location: Baldwin Park, CA Facility: Baldwin Park Hospital Department/Unit: Labor & Delivery Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You'll Do Direct, review, assign, and organize the work of at least three employees, including one Registered Nurse. Provide professional leadership and direction to maintain efficient delivery of effective patient care. Coordinate departmental operations and delegate tasks appropriately. Act as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to new employees and other team members. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Participate in activities related to patient flow, including admission and discharge processes. Conduct audits to ensure documentation reflects thorough assessments and care plans. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and motivate staff in clinical initiatives. Adjust staffing needs to assure quality patient care and staff safety. Ensure timely management of patients and coordinate smooth transitions across the care continuum.
