Medical Assistant - Dermatology

We are seeking a Full Time or Part Time Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! Experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery or Aesthetics is a plus, or at least some sort of demonstrated interest with a willingness to learn - let us know! You will be rooming patients and assisting doctors with general and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine clinical tasks to support doctors: setting up for biopsies, assisting in cosmetic procedures, numbing patients, performing blood draws.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, keeping the flow of the office at an optimum level.
- Enter chief complaint into EMR.
Qualifications:- Must be certified and comfortable in performing blood draws (phlebotomy certification)
- Previous experience medical assisting in a dermatology office or demonstrated interest in aesthetics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Pleasant and outgoing personality to make patients feel welcome and at ease
