Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a service and repair technician in Round Rock. Looking for an experienced individual that has knowledge and experience in a troubleshooting and manufacturing atmosphere. Background experience in plumbing or electrical is preferred but not required. This position is primarily responsible for servicing and repairing washing machines.

As a service and repair technician you’ll be responsible for:

• Inspects, evaluates, and repairs steam generators.

• Works with other repair technicians to determine the problem that is occurring.

• Records, verifies, and documents information for each order.

• Cleaning, rebuilding, and replacing electrical and mechanical devices.

• Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follows safety protocols.

• Track time spent on all repair projects and material used during the repair.

What you’ll need:

• The knowledge and ability to use a variety of power, pneumatic, and hand tools.

• Has a background of working with electrical and plumbing.

• Great organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to read wiring schematics and drawings.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently.

• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Must know how to use hand tools & power tools.

• 1+ Years in a service repair environment.

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
