All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Chemistry instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in chemistry; OR Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry; AND Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry; OR The equivalent.; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
