POSITION NAME:

Production Team Member

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Industrial experience of at least three years preferred, but not required

BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Will operate and maintain equipment, move material, maintain housekeeping and safety standards.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operate all tire line, balancing, sequencing (location specific), material handling and other line positions as required.
2. Off load deliveries of tires, wheels and other raw materials.
3. Inspect tires, wheels, other parts and finished assemblies according to inspection standards and frequencies prescribed.
4. Operate material handling, sequencing, and finished assembly loading systems.
5. Complete all working documentation, records, reports, etc. as requested.
6. Perform trouble shooting, problem solving and countermeasure activities as necessary.
7. Keep the work environment safe and clean at all times.
8. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND Essential Functions:

1. Ability to speak, read and write English required
2. Basic math skills required
3. Verbal and written communication skills required
4. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.
5. Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 hour shifts
6. Rapid, repetitive machine paced activities
7. Bend at the waist.
8. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable)
9. Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis.
10. Ability to follow written work instructions.
11. Ability to work Saturday if necessary
12. Ability to work Sunday if necessary
13. Ability to work all shifts.
