Job descriptionMinimum Eligibility RequirementsHousekeeping experience in a commercial settingAbility to read and write EnglishMust be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, state officials, and the general public.Must have compassion for and desire to work with elderlyMust meet all state health requirementsAbility to perform all duties and responsibilities under essential job functionsEssential FunctionsAdhere to daily tasks as well as unpredictable situations that require housekeepingWork in multiple locations across campus as neededFollow manufacturer directions for all cleaning agents and equipmentDust, Vacuum, and Mop on a daily basisClean spills promptly and completelyRespond promptly to unscheduled housekeeping needsEmpty trash from resident apartments, office areas, and common areasScrub areas that require heavy-duty attention when necessaryRedo areas as necessary throughout the day to maintain continual cleanliness & sanitationFrequently check high traffic areas to insure cleanliness & sanitationRespond appropriately to residents requiring heavier & more frequent housekeepingMaintain cleanliness and sanitation in all common areas of the facilityInteract with residents and other staff members in a respectful mannerThe job description provides a framework for the job, other duties may be assigned as necessaryPhysical/Sensory Requiremens (with or without the aid of mechanical devices)**Medium Work - Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, bend or otherwise move objects.Job Type: Full-time
