Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - MidMichigan.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Must be proficient with ENT. - Must be proficient with orthopedics, specifically total joints, knee, and shoulder arthroscopies. - Must be proficient with endoscopy. - Must be proficient with general surgery, specifically laparoscopic cases, hernia repair, lumps, and bumps. - Must be proficient with cataract surgeries. - Must be proficient with GYN.
Unit Details: - Works in the operating room, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and functioning, assembling sterile instruments correctly, anticipating surgeon needs, maintaining the sterile field, and keeping accurate counts of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges. - Verifies physician preference card items and assists with equipment assembly, cleaning, and sterilization. - Uses Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Thursday schedule. - No weekends. - On-call 5 days per month.
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
