Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend coverage required | On-call and floating required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting with nursery responsibilities, including labor and delivery, circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB triage
• Care for GYN surgery patients as part of unit responsibilities
• Maintain staffing ratios: 1:1 with labor patients, 1:2 with cytotec inductions, 1:1 with mag patients, 1:3 with couplet (mother-baby) care, and 1:1 when a baby is in the sick nursery
• Perform independent hearing screenings on newborns
• Utilize Omnicell medication system and document care using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented

Required Qualifications

• Active RN state license
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP unit
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (night shift L&D applicants must be 50+ miles from the contracted campus only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery or LDRP experience preferred
• Experience in a Baby Friendly designated facility
• Cross-training experience across labor and delivery, circulator, acute care nursery, and OB triage roles
