Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Collaborates as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality speech therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication, cognitive, and swallowing issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Supervise and instruct support staff and assistants in accordance with practice acts and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Stay current with industry standards, certifications, and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Possess valid Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Preferably hold the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Have at least two years of speech-language pathology experience (preferred).
