Job Title : Credit Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay:$28-$32/hr

Employment Type: Contract

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support Accounts Receivable and credit operations. This position will work closely with the Credit/AR Manager and Sales team to manage customer accounts, resolve billing issues, monitor outstanding balances, and support credit decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable working with financial systems, reporting, and customer account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AR aging reports and follow up on past-due invoices
• Reconcile customer accounts and research billing/payment discrepancies
• Post wire payments and process account adjustments and credit refunds
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and account irregularities
• Review payment history and sales forecasts to support credit limit recommendations
• Review and approve credit memos and RMA requests
• Assist with credit risk analysis and customer account management
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including cash forecasts and aging reports
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and other departments to resolve account issues
• Support additional Credit and AR projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or a similar accounting/finance role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience with AR aging, account reconciliation, collections, and cash application
• Strong Excel and general ERP/accounting systems experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances and account issues
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments

Preferred Experience

Experience with credit risk management, credit limits, credit memos, RMA processing, cash forecasting, wire payments, and high-volume customer accounts is highly preferred.
