Shift: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM, Tuesday to Saturday

Job Description

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will analyze specimens according to established procedures and policies, ensuring the appropriateness of samples. This role requires accurate application of test procedures, confirming unusual results, and reviewing and reporting all results to facilitate accurate patient assessments by clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specimens and ensure compliance with section procedures and policies.
• Accurately apply test procedures and confirm unusual results.
• Review and report results in accordance with laboratory policy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent required.
• Certification as CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP), or equivalent medical technologist certification required.
• Must meet CLIA 88 requirements for performing high complexity testing.
• Preferred one year of general laboratory experience.
• Must be proficient in reading and writing English and effectively communicate.
